After having been on a walk all around the area, we will stop at the Montsonís castle and will enjoy a guided visit of its interior. The visitors can learn the basic knowledge relative to the history of the Castle and its surroundings. Seeing its outhouses (the kitchen, the prison, the watch towers , the armoury, the wine cellar , the room of the pilgrim, the dungeon, ...) and listening to an adjusted to all ages explanation, the visitors go back to the medieval times (the feudal structure, the Reconquest, the birth of the Guilds, the middle-class, ...). Once we finish the visit, we can go walking to the Foradada swimming pools, where we can have a rest and eat after the excursion, but probably not before having gone for a good dip.

The walks are optional. The buses can perfectly get to Montsonís and Foradada. We are able to make a quotation for what refers to bus trips. We can include the visit to another castle during the afternoon. VALID OPTIONS FROM JUNE THE 28TH UNTIL AUGUST THE 6TH Choice of days excluding Saturdays and Sundays.

• 10.00h.: Departure from Artesa de Segre in a walking  excursion until Montsonís village (3 km.).
• 11.00h.: Guided tour of the Montsonís castle (1.30 h. ).
• 12.30h.: Excursion on foot until the Foradada (1,5 km.).
• 13h.: Bath in the swimming pool and sports complex of the village (the swimming pools have a bar service).
